Our Story

How Reactivate Church came to be

Smith FamilyFor the first five years of our relationship, Camille and I never once thought about going into ministry. We started out as high school sweethearts and stayed together through many rough patches. Our Passion

The 5 core practices that drive us

Faith is living in advance what will only make sense in reverse. We will practice faith in the following five ways:

Radical Hospitality
Creating a place where everyone is invited, feels genuinely welcomed, and has an opportunity to be loved and belong without condition.

Passionate Worship
Cultivating experiences where people connect with and are transformed by God.

Intentional Apprenticeship
Learning how to practically follow Jesus in the 21st Century.

Risk-Taking Mission
Living courageously to bring hope to hopeless people and places.

Extravagant Generosity
Investing from the abundance of our lives, talents, and resources into the mission of the church.

Giving

As a new church start, there are many challenges that we face with great perseverance and resolve. Our passion and drive to plant a new church in North Charlotte is rooted in our belief that there are many people in our target area that need a fresh encounter with Jesus. According to demographic studies, there is 1 local church for every 38,000 people in our area and according to census data this area is slated to be high growth for the next decade.

We are currently sowing seeds of hope that, in time, will be realized both for individuals and for this community.
